Data the app may process
Bus Barcelona Metro Rodalies is an independent app for checking public transport in the Barcelona area. Depending on the features you use, the app may process:
- Approximate or precise location, if you grant permission, to show nearby stops, stations or services.
- Queries for lines, stops, stations, arrivals, alerts or connected services.
- Favorites, preferences, language, theme and text-size settings stored on your device.
- Technical usage, diagnostic and crash data to improve stability and performance.
- Advertising and consent data when ads are shown through compatible providers.
The app does not require an account, does not sell personal data and is not designed to collect sensitive information.
Location and connected services
You can browse the line, stop and station catalogue without granting location access. If you allow it, location helps center the map and show nearby services. Route requests that use your position as an origin or destination may send the necessary coordinates to the selected journey-planning or navigation provider.
Arrivals, alerts, maps and Bicing availability require connectivity. Providers receive the parameters needed to respond and technical connection data, such as your IP address. Rodalies browsing uses a local catalogue; live tracking of its trains is not provided.
Purposes
We use data to show transport information, maps and nearby services, remember local preferences, improve app stability, measure aggregated usage and manage advertising where applicable.
Third parties and sources
The app uses a local catalogue based on TMB, AMB, FGC, TRAM, CGIM/T-mobilitat and Bicing sources. Live data depends on each provider and connectivity. Opening external maps or navigation also involves the selected service's terms.
Firebase Analytics may process installation or device identifiers and feature-usage events. Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, app version, operating system and technical diagnostic data. Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform (UMP) may process advertising identifiers, ad interactions, technical data and consent choices depending on the configuration and applicable permissions.

Advertising and consent
The app may show ads. Where applicable, UMP presents consent choices before advertising requests. Location permission and advertising preferences are separate choices. Retention
Favorites and preferences remain on your device until you remove them or clear the app's data. Restoring a system backup may restore preferences. Technical or advertising data managed by third parties is retained according to the service configuration and its policies; removing the app does not automatically delete data already sent to those providers.
Your choices
You can revoke permissions in system settings and remove local app data. You can contact Faro Labs to request information, access, correction or deletion of personal data, or raise other privacy requests that apply to your situation. Describe the app, platform and request; do not send payment details or passwords. If we do not retain information that lets us identify your data, we will explain that limitation.
